About Kerri
Kerri attended Marquette University and earned a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. As a physical therapist, she practices in the outpatient orthopedic setting, treating patients with diagnoses ranging from back pain to knee replacements to sports injuries. She specializes in manual therapy, a hands-on approach to treatment. Outside of work, Kerri enjoys running and usually trains for a half marathon every year. Dancing has always been a passion of Kerri's as she has been taking dance classes for 20 years and hopes to show off some sweet moves on the dance floor at the wedding. Over summer weekends, you can often find Kerri wake-boarding or water-skiing at her parent's lake home in Indiana. In addition to the typical female indulgences of shopping and pampering, Kerri loves music, playing board games, seasonal food (especially pumpkin flavors in the fall!), and spending time with friends and family.About Dave
Dave attended Notre Dame University and majored in finance and history.
How we met
A mutual friend, Becky (one of our bridesmaids), introduced Dave and Kerri on two separate occasions. The first time they met was at a birthday party. After chatting for awhile, Kerri's impression of Dave was as a nice guy who went to Notre Dame, intelligent, but a bit nerdy. The second time Kerri and Dave met was nearly a year and a half later at a party Dave hosted at his house. This time Dave was so friendly and
outgoing that Kerri had to ask Becky if he was a “ladies' man.” In fact,
her first impressions of him were so different that she didn't realize
he was the same person until nearly a year later!
